4pm – 7pm, 10th November 2026
Farrer & Co. Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London

In November we’re joining forces with PIMFA for our first annual briefing for Chairs and Non-Executive Directors of wealth management firms, kindly hosted by Farrer & Co.
PIMFA, the trade association for wealth management, investment services and financial advice, brings a valuable perspective on current challenges and the future landscape of the sector through its work with government, regulators and the industry.
Liz Field, PIMFA’s CEO, will share an update on the association’s work and trends the team are seeing. Ben Blackett-Ord will then chair a panel with Simon Harrington, Head of Public Affairs at PIMFA, and Grania Baird, Head of Financial Services Regulatory and Funds at Farrer & Co. We’ll explore the wealth management and advice landscape, including the role of the NED in supporting effective oversight and navigating change in the sector. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, compare notes with peers and share the issues on your board’s agenda.
Bringing together PIMFA’s sector insight and perspectives from our wider financial services NED community, the session will offer a valuable opportunity to exchange views and experiences and build an ongoing dialogue. We’ll continue the conversation afterwards over drinks and canapés.
While this roundtable is aimed at those with current NED roles at wealth management firms, we realise that many of our members have wider portfolios than we’re aware of. So if you have experiences to contribute, and would like to attend, do let us know.
Kindly hosted at Farrer & Co
