Our members are the NEDs and Chairs of financial services organisations. Our network is now over 500 NEDs and growing every day. We’re here to introduce you to peers and help you compare notes, as well as engage with policy makers on your behalf.
Membership of NEDs in FS
Our organisation was founded to meet the needs of NEDs and Chairs, and our members represent firms across financial services in the UK – many of whom also bring experience from other regions and sectors.
Although the majority of our members have at least one current NED role in a regulated firm, we also appreciate the contribution made by other senior individuals in our discussions and support those who are looking for their first NED role. For this reason we offer a limited number of Associate Memberships. We review all applications to ensure Associate Members have relevant and valuable industry experience.
All Members and Associate Members are invited to attend our regular ‘Forum’ events. We offer around 10 sessions per year, discussing current topics relevant to the NED community, attended by around 25-50 NEDs. In addition as part of our growing membership you will have access to our jobs board, first sight of our training courses, and invitations to one off events such as sectoral roundtables, regional dinners and networking drinks.
Individual membership of NEDs in FS has an an annual fee of £150+VAT (or £250+VAT for Associate Members). Take a look at our past events to get a feel for what we offer, and if you’re interested, we encourage you to come along to one of our sessions free of charge to get to know us.
